What animating an image can and cannot do
Motion is inferred from a single frame, so the model invents whatever an image never showed — ask for too much turn and the hidden side drifts. Write one acceptance test before you start: the movement this looping video must show without breaking the subject. Compare a few short attempts against it, and stop at the first clean pass. If faces, hands or small text break every time, choose a smaller movement or a different style from cinemagraph, ambient, abstract and nature.
