Core capability
The review numbers, unrounded in your favour
Sixty days to 9 September 2026. Seedance 2.0 image-to-video: 86 jobs from 34 creators, 21 finished, 57 stopped by the content-safety response (66%). Seedance 2.0 fast image-to-video: 77 jobs from 44 creators, 25 finished, 43 stopped (56%). Text-to-video did better on a small sample: 3 of 3 standard and 7 of 9 fast runs finished. Compare Wan 2.2 Spicy in the last 21 days alone: 16,059 jobs, zero stops. The difference is the upstream route, not the model quality.
What passed
Reading the finished jobs, the pattern is consistent: clothed or lingerie scenes, suggestive motion, dance, kissing, implied rather than explicit action, and text-to-video prompts without an uploaded photo. The review is strictest on uploaded images that already contain nudity; a still that is explicit on the way in is the single best predictor of a stop. Seedance 2.0 remains excellent for the “tease” half of an adult catalogue and for cinematic, non-explicit character work.
What to do with the explicit half
Send it to the Wan routes. Wan 2.2 Spicy image-to-video for short loops, Wan 2.7 Spicy for 1080p up to 15 seconds, Wan 3.0 for audio and multi-reference scenes. All three run without a prompt filter and the Wan Spicy routes have never logged a content-safety stop in production. Using Seedance 2.0 for explicit stills means a two-in-three chance of a refunded run and a wasted two minutes.
Versions and current access
Seedance 2.0 standard and fast routes are available in Makeartly Studio for text-to-video and image-to-video; the CTA preselects Seedance 2.0 when the live catalogue confirms it.
Evidence
Prompting Seedance 2.0 for the work it does well
Seedance rewards cinematic language: name the lens, the move and the light. “Medium shot, 35 mm, she walks toward camera down a hotel corridor in a silk robe, slow dolly back, tungsten practicals, subtle sway.” Keep the reference still clothed and let the prompt carry the mood. The fast route at 510 credits is the right place to iterate; the standard route at 660 for the final. Both quotes are the default figures at review time and appear in Studio before you submit.
Deployment filtering and adult-content boundaries
Makeartly does not add a separate mainstream adult-content refusal layer for verified adult creators; this deployment-level statement does not mean the upstream official model is uncensored or guarantee prompt acceptance. Adult workflows are for adults only. CSAM and all under-18 sexual content are prohibited. Consent and likeness authorization are required, and non-consensual intimate content, unauthorized real-person deepfakes, and sexual impersonation are prohibited.
Why we publish the block rate
Other sites list Seedance under “uncensored” because the platform itself adds no filter. That is technically true here too and practically misleading: what you experience is the provider’s review. Publishing the measured rate lets you route correctly on the first attempt. We re-measure before changing this page; if the upstream policy loosens, the numbers and the routing advice will change with it.
Use cases
You want a cinematic lingerie walk with real camera language
Seedance 2.0 is the best-looking option here and this kind of brief is what passed its review.
Your still is already explicit
Skip Seedance 2.0 entirely; two of three such attempts were stopped. Wan 2.2 Spicy finished 98% of 16,059 jobs with no stops.
- Decide whether the clip is suggestive or explicit before choosing a model.
- Suggestive, clothed or lingerie: open Seedance 2.0 fast image-to-video with a clothed still and a cinematic prompt.
- Explicit: open Wan 2.2 Spicy, Wan 2.7 Spicy or Wan 3.0 instead.
- Iterate on the fast route, then render the final on standard Seedance 2.0.
- If Seedance stops a clip, do not reword; the still is the trigger, so move the brief to a Wan route.
Limitations and decision checks
Acceptance test with a clothed still
Run one fast-route clip from a clothed still as the acceptance test, compare how much of the mood survived without explicit content, stop if the review flags even that, and choose a Wan route for the whole series instead of retrying Seedance.
A stop on Seedance 2.0 is refunded but tells you the input image, not the wording, was the problem. Small samples on text-to-video: The text-to-video pass rates above come from 12 jobs. Treat them as encouraging, not proven.
