Core capability
What Veo 3.1 actually does well
Native audio generation is the headline feature — most video models, including everything Makeartly currently runs, produce silent clips only. Veo 3.1 also added "Ingredients to Video" (up to three reference images to guide a generation), Scene Extension for continuous narratives beyond a single clip, and first-to-last-frame transitions between two images.
Why it isn't an option for adult content
Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy explicitly bars "sexually explicit content -- for example, content created for the purpose of pornography or sexual gratification." Every Veo output is also watermarked with SynthID and passed through automated safety evaluations before release. That's a deliberate, clearly stated restriction, not a workaround-able filter — Veo is not, and was never positioned as, an adult-content tool.
Evidence
Where Makeartly's video lineup stands
Makeartly is not a Veo integration. Makeartly runs Kling, Seedance, Wan, Vidu, and Hailuo — five video models with no native audio track, but uncensored for verified adult (18+) creators, which is the one thing Veo's own policy rules out entirely regardless of tier or pricing.
Use cases
When this article is useful
Google's Veo 3.1 generates 4K video with native audio but blocks sexually explicit content by policy. Makeartly is a free uncensored alternative. 18+ only.
